As a Comm Desk Business Analyst you’ll be responsible for executing detail-oriented and time-sensitive documentation with excellent communication skills and a customer centric focus to drive Spectrum’s Customer Commitment, making a difference in the lives of our customers every day.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data, both written and verbally, related to current and future operation
Creating Executive-level reports, charts, graphs, and presentations to aid in proposing new strategies for successful business changes
Managing day-to-day operational aspects of disaster event management to ensure successful implementation of project tasks and customer treatments including time-sensitive and critical deployment strategies
Recommending use of new technology or existing technology alternatives to solve problems or make improvements
Assisting in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology and process related to the Disaster Events Action Plan program
In this role you’ll be accountable for Business Continuity and Incident Response plans, directing work efforts, reviewing integrated project timelines, escalating and communicating resource needs, ensuring completion of quality reviews, and driving the resolution of issues as appropriate. You’ll excel if you can collaborate cross-functionally, adapt to change, and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. You’ll develop skills that are transferable to other areas of Spectrum for a meaningful, long-term career.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience:
Business analysis or related experience: 2 years or more
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Procedural documentation and project implementation experience
Demonstrated customer service and peer-to-peer leadership abilities
Quickly identify business problems & opportunities
Prioritize & organize effectively
Analyze & interpret data, communicate clearly both orally and in writing
Utilize critical thinking to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Demonstrate technical concept writing and draft process documentation
Schedule:
3rd shift between 12pm and 10pm with 1 weekend day
Bi-weekly on-call schedule requiring 24 hours, 7 day a week availability to resolve an issue that may occur
Four in-office days weekly
