Accounting
This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
Interns will help gather information and prepare responses to requests from state income tax auditors. They will also track state income tax legislative changes, organize files, and investigate and resolve outstanding debts with various governmental agencies. Interns will also assist with other assignments as needed.
Gather information and prepare responses for state income tax audits. Work on state income tax legislative changes, including organizing files and analyzing bills.
Required qualifications
Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between of May 2028 to May 2029
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in career in tax
Understanding of basic accounting concepts
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
Strong research, analytical, interpretation, and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Works well independently or within a group
Adapts quickly to unexpected/changing conditions

High level of attention to detail and professionalism
