Ready to drive impactful human resources strategies at Spectrum? Lead the implementation and management of policies across recruitment, employment, employee relations and equal opportunity, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with company goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, evaluating and resolving complex HR issues in a fast-moving environment while supporting a geographically dispersed workforce. Your leadership will help achieve organizational objectives and enhance Spectrum’s success.


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring Spectrum policies are consistently administered
  • Guide managers and supervisors with consultative support and resolve escalated employee issues
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws to minimize risk
  • Direct recruiting and staffing processes, designing employee retention strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage organizational change and participate in enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Oversee payroll processing, commission reporting and maintenance of HRIS database
  • Hire, train and develop direct reports while managing departmental expenses and budget planning

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum 

Required Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or organizational behavior or related field or equivalent experience

Experience 

  • 8-10+ years of human resource generalist experience in single or multi-location environments
  • 5+ years of management experience

  • Effective interaction with executive management and personnel
  • Delegation, mentoring and development of team members
  • Project planning, management and leadership
  • Supervision and motivation of staff
  • Professional public engagement
  • Confidentiality and decision-making under pressure

  • Strong business acumen and negotiation
  • Data analysis and interpretation for business cases
  • Expert knowledge of employment laws and procedures
  • Recruitment trends, wage and hour laws, staffing practices
  • Project management and public speaking proficiency
  • Understanding of broadband services and subscription models

Preferred Qualifications 

Education 

  • Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Master’s Degre
