As a Sr Content Designer, Are you ready to craft compelling in-product messaging for mobile apps, set-top box apps, responsive websites, and interactive program guides? In this role, you'll create cross-platform messaging that enhances user experiences across various applications. Collaborate with multiple teams to design innovative solutions and support new and existing features, ensuring seamless and engaging interactions for our users.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the agent and customer experience
Enhance the user experience of a product by crafting content to fit product needs such as product copy, instructional text, UI labels, error messaging, etc.
Responsible for consistent cross-product messaging across all digital channels (i.e. agent-facing tools, web, mobile, TV, wearables, print, voice)
Responsible for creating copy that works as part of a UX/UI design solution that is engaging and effective to help achieve business goals.
Function as the liaison with product managers, designers and developers to understand and write content that meets business and technical requirements.
Creates and adheres to voice, tone, style and brand content guidelines.
Accepts editorial feedback from stakeholders and peers and be great at incorporating feedback received into the work product. In addition, to be able to offer design feedback to UX/UI designer-peers where appropriate.
Advocate for the customer experience within the organization.
Ownership of content/voice/tone of one or more products.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
6+ years writing experience with at least 50% focus on UX writing
Experience with common productivity and design tools (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
Experience or understanding of basic UX/product design principles
Experience leading creative projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing content for internal tools or agent-facing applications.
Familiarity with content systems, design tools (like Figma), and agile methodologies.
Abilities:
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to collaborate and work well with others
Skills:
Understands design thinking and user experience design best practices; in particular, understand the difference between copywriting and content design
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed
Work Environment:
Full Time
This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)
