As a Senior Sales Compensation Consultant at Spectrum, you’ll drive the design and implementation of impactful commission and incentive programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends. Your expertise will directly influence performance, recognition and retention of top sales talent, making a measurable difference across the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Design, model and implement sales commission and SPIFF programs to drive results
Develop communication strategies and plan documents that clearly support compensation programs
Provide education and training to Sales Channel Leaders and Human Resources staff on variable compensation practices
Lead major compensation initiatives and manage cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Evaluate existing commission plans and recommend updates to meet business needs and market trends
Act as a business partner with key stakeholders to deliver solutions on complex compensation projects
Analyze sales positions and commission plans, making recommendations on pay grade, compensation level and structure
Support Commission Operations team with guidance on plan intent for accurate execution and administration

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Experience
8+ years of sales commission design and development experience
8+ years of financial modeling experience
5+ years of project management experience
Skills
Ability to influence business leaders
Ability to collaborate effectively with management, peers and employees
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Commitment to confidentiality
Decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure
Effective prioritization and organization
Knowledge of variable compensation design, especially sales commission plans
In-depth understanding of sales compensation fundamentals including design principles, strategic planning, effectiveness review and plan modeling
Preferred Qualifications Education
CCP and CSCP certifications preferred
Experience
Cable industry experience highly desired
Sales operations or financial forecasting experience may be helpful
Exposure to major customer billing and commission systems may be helpful
