As a Software Engineer I on this team, you’ll work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers’ experience while adhering to business and technical requirements. We design and develop applications in Python and/or Java, build out unit testing and then audit tests to exercise the code you build and demonstrate the new functionality to your team.

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
0-1+ year experience with database management systems
0-1+ year experience with coding, testing, and designing software
0-1+ year experience with software development methodologies
Skills
Software development experience in Java and/or Python, Github or Gitlab pipeline experience for source control and a familiarity with Object Oriented Programming and microservices and/or containers.
Basic knowledge of coding principles
Knowledge of one major programming language/tool
Knowledge of coding language and syntax, usage of functions and object-oriented patterns
Understanding of applicable technical systems and programming in a general sense
Showcases capability level work to their team
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained and work on problems of limited scope
Ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
