What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be essential to two teams — your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
- The role will be a key contributor, providing significant support in the areas of program management tools and process optimization, product requirements tracking and traceability, and establishing inter-departmental meetings with Data Product's business partners. Primary deliverables will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing program collaboration sites to ensure consistent content and updates
- Partnering with incumbent Program Managers to review and optimize project schedules and processes, then make a recommendation on which would make for a "best practice" approach.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate documentation of agendas, meeting minutes, action items and owners, and next steps for each of the assigned programs.
- Collaborate with Product Development Product Owners to review and analyze Market Requirements Documents, Program Charters and High Level Business Requirements, then identify and recommend areas for improvement.
- Successful interaction with internal and external stakeholders, building rapport and establishing credibility as a member of the Data Product team.
- The 2025 Summer Intern: Project Coordinator will receive mentoring during the course of the 10-week engagement, which will hone in on technical and soft skills improvements. Weekly one-on-one sessions will be scheduled with department leadership, in which the Project Coordinator will illustrate successful completion of deliverables, express any roadblocks that stand in the way of their success, and receive carefully curated guidance on next steps and areas of improvement.

Required qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2025 - May 2026
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

The base pay for this position generally is between $24.00 and $24.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
