- This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
- Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
- In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

This position serves as a liaison between the Procurement Operations, eProcurement Solutions Team and Business Unit (BU) end users, providing business process/functional solutions to meet the end users’ needs. This role requires an understanding of procurement, supplier enablement and contracts processes. This position needs an understanding of the organization’s procurement systems and capabilities. The role is responsible in documenting As-Is and To Be business processes, business requirements, process flow, data flow and system architecture diagrams in collaboration with IT and ERP team. The role will support the reporting needs by working in reporting tools like Business Objects.
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Assist to gather, refine, and validate end user business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues using all available techniques, including interviews, user stories/requirements, prototyping, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and/or business processes to meet user requirements, change requests, enhancements and/or issues.
- Maintain supporting functional and technical documentation Communicate and collaborate with internal users, and articulate and distinguish user requests from the underlying need
- Assist with documenting project scope, deliverables and milestones, business process design (or redesign) and documentation as needed Assist with monitoring project progress which encompasses requirement elicitation, system / port design, user / functional requirements documentation, test plan /scenario creation and final defect tracking
- Assist in creation of process and business flows using Visio or other tools by collaborating with the development team and BU end users Assist with unit testing, user acceptance testing, building test scripts and scenarios, defect logging and regression testing
- Assist in creating and reviewing system reference guides, training materials, end user communication and business process diagrams to support change management
- Stay abreast of best practices and changing functionalities in the various systems to develop domain knowledge and assist in developing recommendations for enhancements or changes
- Understand the interaction of data between the various P2P applications and ERP Ensure effective communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, risk and resources of work effort being managed
- Communicate using written and verbal skills, build strong relationships, and work closely with P2P support and internal IT to resolve system, data related and/or workflow issues Assist with training system users, building training guides and videos.

Required qualifications
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
