What you can expect in this role 

As a Spectrum intern,you’llspend the summer working alongside two teams:your respective department and your interncohort

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule.You’llspend the other 20% oninternshipexperiences that include a kickoff conference,professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functionalprojects,and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand yournetwork,and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

  • The SpectrumJS team is responsible for developing and delivering the Spectrum TV app to our customers across a variety of connected TV platforms including: Xumo, Xumo TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Xbox, Samsung, LG, Vizio, Web, and more. As a software engineer on the SpectrumJS team, you'll utilize industry-leading technology, front-end frameworks, and AI tools to deliver new features and capabilities alongside a talented, large-scale team.
  • Developing features. Fixing bugs. Writing tests. Delivering team-enhancing tooling and capabilities.

Required qualifications

  • Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Must be currentlyenrolledin an accredited College or University completing abachelor’sdegree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Javascript, Typescript, Front-end technologies and frameworks
