As a Facility Assistant II at Charter Communications, you play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facility location(s). You are responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the building and its infrastructure through a wide range of support assignments. Your comprehensive understanding of corporate facility operations enables you to perform general maintenance tasks for both the facility and office equipment.

As our Facility Assistant II, you will contribute significantly to the seamless operation of our facility and enhance the overall experience for our stakeholders.
WHAT OUR FACILITIES ASSISTANTS ENJOY MOST
- Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintaining the overall order and organization of the common areas throughout the facility.
- Providing a consistent and effective level of customer service while responding to building occupants on issues.
- Completing daily and weekly facility-related tasks and duties such as acting as a switchboard/receptionist, mailroom clerk, clerical assistant, etc.
- Proactively ensuring that conference/meeting rooms are properly equipped and maintained daily and addressing any necessary corrections.
- Assisting employees with conference room requests (visitors, parking, security, etc.), communicating reservation confirmations, room set-up requirements, catering requests, and signage needs, and providing support in case of potential conflicts.
- Maintaining the Outlook calendar for various meeting rooms on campus, assisting the Business Unit with meeting schedules and requirements.
- Monitoring, stocking, and completing inventory sheets associated with the daily and weekly maintenance of the breakroom, mailroom, and supply cabinets in all buildings on campus. This includes refilling coffee, paper, copier trays, supply drawers, etc.
- Ensuring that office equipment is operational and properly maintained, troubleshooting problems as needed, and managing repairs with the service provider as directed by the supervisor.
- Escorting vendors/service providers on campus while they perform repairs or equipment installations.
- Assisting with the coordination and management of campus moves and company functions.
- Supporting the maintenance of up-to-date floor plans and associated documentation.
- Monitoring and administering building access.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- By actively participating in these responsibilities, you will contribute to simplifying processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, maintaining a well-organized environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
The Facilities Department ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the location(s), performing various support tasks to maintain a well-functioning building. They handle general maintenance and possess knowledge of corporate facility tasks. Operating in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, they prioritize prompt and efficient response to requests, delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Proficient w/computers and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook calendar & email)
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, independent and motivate team player able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to use standard office equipment (telephone, computer, printer, scanner, copier)
- Possess attention to detail, organization and accuracy
- Ability to work overtime as the business needs dictate
- Ability to effectively and efficiently make use of time and resources
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Office environment
- Occasional overtime required
Preferred Qualifications
- Facility support or related experience in a professional, retail or hospitality sector 1+ year
- Customer Service 1+ year

The base pay for this position generally is between $20.00 and $29.15. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
