JOB SCOPE
Responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Network Engineering team on day-to-day activities regarding monitoring the network, installation sites, trouble isolation and repair of identified and reported problems. Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and performance management of staff.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Develops a disciplined, detailed and structured team to drive a high performance culture and environment.
Provides engineering support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiatives.
Work with staff to ensure that individual team metrics and goals are being met.
Ensures required reports are timely, accurate and complete.
Provides technical guidance and assistance as required for problem resolution.
Oversees the daily activities of Network Services and performs direct supervision of team members, including performance reviews, career development, and staffing.
Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
Knows, understands and follows company policy.
Establishes positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
Performs other duties as requested by manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Ability to analyze and interpret data

Knowledge of HFC networks
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience

Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
