The Senior Software Developer role is responsible for developing, modify and continious improvement of Field Operations Engineering applications used by our employees.  The role will focus on increased user acceptance testing, partnering with the user community to design test scenarious as well as automating repetitive activities.

As a Senior Software Developer on the Field Operations Engineering team, you’ll develop, modify, enhance and implement software systems designed to support Spectrums business initiatives. You will be immersed in maintaining and providing technical assistance for existing software solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 6+ years experience with Playwright.
    • 6+ years experience with coding, testing and design.
    • 6+ years experience with software development methodologies.
  • Education:
    • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical skills:
    • Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
    • Strong technical knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems.
  • Skills:
    • Creative and abstract thinking skills to envision and design innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges.
    • Demonstrated communication skills (written, interpersonal, presentation), with the ability to easily and effectively interact and negotiate with business stakeholders.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty, and incomplete information when evaluating alternatives and making recommendations.
    • Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks.
    • Ability to work independently; designing, developing and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time with minimal direction.

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
