The Software Development Manager for Connected TV Platforms will lead an experienced team of Software Developers that develop, modify, enhance, and implement React-based front-end software systems designed for connected TV devices. Works in all phases of projects, which are of considerable complexity, and requires strong knowledge of development technologies and principles, requiring software delivery experience in native mobile applications and Connected TV applications.

  • Developing processes for cross-functional skills development within team.
  • Managing development of new products, technologies, and initiatives.
  • Assisting in reviewing selections on bids for contracted projects, and providing recommendations as necessary.
  • Contributing to capital budget process and executing approved budget plan.
  • Participating in succession planning.
  • Contributing to the quality and performance of all software solutions created.
  • Developing an organization that supports outcome delivery, resolving technical debt, responding to production issues, improving quality, and investing in speed and team autonomy.
  • Performing other duties as requested.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of technical and/or Product Management Experience. 2+ years of experience leading complex projects.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
    • Ability to supervise and motivate others.
    • Ability to work with large, cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and results.
    • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
    • Ability to organize and delegate work.
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
    • Ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics.
    • Ability to manage and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously.
  • Travel Ability:
    • Travel as required.
  • Schedule:
    • Full time. Office environment. This position is eligible for our Hybrid Work Policy. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related industry experience - Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online Services
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience.

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
