As a Lead Billing Analyst, you will be the trusted expert behind our billing platform—overseeing enhancements, supporting releases and upgrades, and partnering with teams to ensure seamless billing operations. Your work enables better decision-making, continuous improvement and outstanding service for our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Spectrum’s billing system, providing support, guidance and solutions across teams
- Manage and update billing platform parameters, ensuring the integrity of system configurations in production, training and test environments
- Research and resolve functionality inquiries and internal customer requests while supporting interface updates and troubleshooting
- Support testing efforts for enhancements and system releases, validating updates to maintain operational continuity
- Lead technical initiatives for the Billing Operations Team
- Coordinate and troubleshoot with internal teams and billing vendors to ensure successful implementation of platform enhancements
- Compile data, develop executive-level reports and dashboards
Schedule
- This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week
- May require participation in on-call rotation to support billing platform interface
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
- 7+ years of experience with database reporting tools, Macros, queries and SQL
- 5+ years of billing system platform experience
- Business operations analysis experience
- CSG knowledge
- Telecommunications experienc
Skills
- Understanding of billing platform workflows, interfaces and related functionality
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple activities
- Effective research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to consistently perform as a high-achieving team member
- Willingness to mentor team members to help achieve departmental objectives
- Expert understanding of billing functions such as taxation, cards, provisioning and payments
- Read, write, speak and understand English
