What we’re looking for: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Consumer Marketing team, coordinating and implementing marketing materials and promotions and assisting with marketing operations responsibilities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support the Consumer Marketing team in all efforts to engage viewers of the linear news network, mobile and connected TV apps. Coordinate and communicate with other departments regarding the planning, creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions and assest. Prepare weekly programming guides and communicate channel line-ups, changes, and updates, as necessary.
Assist the production and delivery of programming and CTV artwork.
Manage on-air inventory with weekly commercial traffic logs and updates as needed for multiple stations.
Monitor traffic on-air and via headend reports.
Assist with on-air and digital graphics requests, including sourcing suitable imagery.
Coordinate photo shoots and support promotional shoots.
Approve community event submissions for air and website.
Support and coordinate internal and external community activations across the network as needed.
Process marketing invoices. Communicate with affiliates and vendors; make payment arrangements and review invoices.
Assist with orders and delivery of merchandise and apparel across the network.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to reach with hands and arms, to bend, to talk and hear, and to read and use a computer Ability to use, handle, and manipulate objects such as paper, pencils, keyboards, and mouse Ability to work independently Ability to work while seated for prolonged periods of time Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator, and stapler Knowledge of basic mathematics Knowledge of cable television products and services Knowledge of direct sales and telemarketing procedures Knowledge of media and newspaper advertising techniques Proficient knowledge of personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, Internet etc.) Vision ability close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent College course work in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
REQUIRED RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE Marketing experience - 2
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Fluency in Spanish

WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment Exposure to moderate noise levels

The base pay for this position generally is between $21.85 and $40.10. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
