What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

We're looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join our Residential Ecommerce team as a junior Product Manager. You'll help shape how customers discover, purchase, and receive residential products online — an experience that extends beyond checkout into delivery scheduling, installation, and fulfillment. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and operations to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, track key metrics to inform decisions, and help prioritize what the team builds next. This role is ideal for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, curious about the "why" behind the numbers, and eager to learn the fundamentals of product management in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
Translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, user stories, or specs for engineering and design
Query and analyze product/customer data (SQL, dashboards) to inform feature decisions
Track and report on key metrics for owned features (conversion rate, AOV, cart abandonment, etc.)
Maintain and prioritize backlog items in Jira/Linear/Asana Map and document the residential customer journey, including delivery, scheduling, and installation touchpoints
Support prioritization discussions using structured frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, etc.)
Partner with engineering, design, and operations to keep projects moving and unblock issues
Assist in defining success criteria and monitoring results for A/B tests or feature launches
Turn ambiguous problems into concrete next steps or action items Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, digestible formats
Required qualifications
Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Prioritization thinking (RICE, MoSCoW, or structured tradeoffs)
