Are you eager to turn data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions? As an Associate Data Analyst at Spectrum, you will help shape resource optimization across multiple departments by delivering impactful forecasts and reports. Gain valuable experience with reporting tools and analytics while learning Spectrum’s policies and processes. Your work will directly support management to identify trends and opportunities, making a measurable difference in Spectrum’s operational success.

This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support analysis of customer interaction, operational and transactional data to identify trends, customer pain points and opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist with AI and NLP-enabled analysis of customer interactions, including text classification, clustering, semantic analysis and other emerging analytical techniques.

  • Collaborate with senior analysts and business partners to develop and maintain customer interaction categories, business rules, data definitions and analytical methodologies.

  • Integrate data from multiple sources under general supervision to fulfill business needs.

  • Conduct data quality checks and validate analytical and AI-generated outputs through data reviews, sampling and reconciliation.

  • Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards and end-user data resources.

  • Document analytical processes, data definitions, assumptions and methodologies to support consistency and repeatability.


What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 0-2 years of data analysis and reporting or related experience

Skills

  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient at managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Document analytical processes, data definitions, assumptions and methodologies to support consistency and repeatability.
  • Skilled at quickly identifying business problems or opportunities
  • Clear communicator, both orally and in writing, with all levels of management
  • Documenting, preparing and presenting data-driven presentations
  • Knowledge of software applications such as Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), text classification, clustering or AI-assisted analytical techniques

  • Interest in using emerging AI and analytical technologies to improve the speed, scalability and quality of business insights
