Three Employees Share How They Built a Career at Spectrum

Meet Renny: Part of Our Network Since 2016

As a digital sales manager, Renny starts his day by reviewing the previous day and looking forward to his team’s opportunities. Like a coach, he forms a game plan for the day. He began his Spectrum career as a direct sales supervisor, which set him on the right path to becoming a sales enablement supervisor, then the direct sales manager of the Charlotte, North Carolina market.

It’s here where he currently rallies his team toward meeting and exceeding their sales goals. Every day, Renny works to help his department grow, which helps to create more jobs and solidify current ones, and create advancement opportunities for other employees.

Meet Shannon: Part of Our Network Since 2006

 

Shannon started her career with Spectrum 23 years ago as a customer service supervisor. She grew into a number of different customer service leadership positions until deciding to move into the retail side of the business. Shannon led 52 cable stores, managed over 100 employees and built 3 new retail stores. From there, she expressed interest in Field Operations and 12 years into her career with Spectrum she was given the opportunity to work as a Regional Vice President for the Carolina’s.

A typical day for Shannon consists of m meetings with leadership to set expectations and drive execution of key initiatives. Overall, her role is about strategic implementation, planning, financial management, and driving performance to meet customer expectations.

Meet Steve: Part of Our Network Since 2006

 

Like many of our employees, Steve began his career at Spectrum in one of our bustling call centers as an inbound sales agent. “I thought it would just be a job,” he recalls. “But this has truly become my forever home and a very rewarding career.”

Since his start, Steve has been promoted three times—from a sales agent to a senior sales advisor, to a sales supervisor, to an inbound sales manager. Today, as an inbound sales manager, he is motivated by leading a dynamic team that delivers high-quality services to our customers and keeps them connected to what matters most.

“My colleagues are like and extension of my family; we are also a very diverse and dynamic group of individuals!”
